Celebrating five years of desiFEST, this years version will have more music for everyones tastes, and some big names travelling here domestically, and from the UK.

RBC desiFest in Toronto on May 29, 2010
The warmer weather is upon us (at least it should be) and with that, comes the kick off to this years music festivals.
The first one, is the RBC desiFest, which hosts a festival in four cities across Canada.
May 29, will see the first one take place in Toronto at Yonge-Dundas Square, providing 12 hours of free music performances.
There is a wide range of genres performing, but you lot should be interested in seeing Black Mahal, The Bilz & Kashif, Roach Killa, Blitzkrieg, Shahid Ali Khan, Navin Kundra and En Karma perform.

Delhi 2 Dublin Free Concert at Dundas Square
Just a quick heads up, that Delhi 2 Dublin will be performing a free concert at Dundas Square on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 8PM to 10PM.

Swami in Toronto Dates
They’re on their way, in fact they’ve probably touched down by now.
Swami are in Toronto for over a week, with three official concerts lined up.
Here is what you need to know:
June 20 – Swami at the Telus Mosaic Fest (Mississauga) at 8PM – www.mosaicfest.com

I think the June 20th and 26th performances will be your best bets if you want to catch the full Swami experience. I’m telling you, it is a sight to be seen. These guys have such a magnificent stage presence and energy, that you just have to see it. I guarantee the way these guys sound on their album, is the exact way they sound on stage – and they don’t use a tape back up.
