Old School Sunday – DJ Sunshine “Hit Geetan Da Guldasta”
This has got to be one of the best tracks to come out of Canada (Toronto,) period. Released in 93/94, and vocals from (late) Surjit Bindrakhia, this track was on DJ Sunshine’s Rise & Shine Volume 3.
The appropriately named (Straight to the Motherland Mix,) featured some of Bindrakhia’s hit songs. It was one of a few songs that got me out of my seat at a party, and on to the dance floor. DJs really need to bring this tune back.
