Twin Beats “Nain Nashiley” Remix Released
Bill Simmons was right, “it’s great to be back in the mid-’80s again.”
After hitting you with the ultra smooth “Dil Vich Tareya” Remix, Twin Beats are at it again with their second of three “alternative” remixes they will be releasing from reworked songs off “The Sounds of Punjab.”
The Twins describe this remix as an ‘electro/disco house mix.’ Catch a sample below, and tell me those synths aren’t making you reach for a white suit and t-shirt.
The song is now available for download from iTunes.
P.S. That Cassette graphic is “Totally Rad!”

Old School Sunday – Taio Cruz “Rainfall” (Rishi Rich Remix)
Taio Cruz is a UK based artist who hooked up with Nitin Sawhney on his 2003 album, “Human.”
Rishi Rich later did a remix for the song, which is what you see in this weeks dose of Old School Sunday.
Every time I listen to this song, I lose myself in the serene sound.
Free En Karma “Tohar Naal Jeena – Traditional Mix” Download
Nick Chowlia of En Karma hooked up a Traditional mix of “Tohar Naal Jeena,” and I have to say it is heavy. In fact, I will go as far as saying, I like it better than the original version.
Hollywood Harv even gets onto this track with an intro DJ Sanj style.
Some things on this Earth are overrated (sleeping, Starbucks, Prison Break) but dholified songs definitely are not.
If you’ve been living under a rock the last few months and don’t know who En Karma is, then hit up their debut video here, and their website here.
