MoneySpinner “Desh Panjab Di” Video
Last week I posted promos on the MoneySpinner album “Poetry.” Well here is the first video from the album.
Nirmal Sidhu killed it on the vocals. It’s not exactly a dance tune, but the video does make me want to be jumping out and around in the Pend.
The album drops on February 25th, and can be purchased digitally from VIP Records. I’m also happy to note that they now offer their digital downloads as an mp3 file, rather than wma format.

MoneySpinner “Poetry” Release Info
When I hear the word poetry it doesn’t exactly fill me up with any energy. So when that word is used to name a UK Bhangra album, that same energy I expect to experience with an album isn’t quite there.
MoneySpinner, a group of 4 musicians is set to release their sophomore album titled “Poetry.” They justify the use of the title by stating that the album “features some truly great vocalists, lyrics and music, all complimenting each other to produce ‘Poetry’ in motion.”
The eight track album features the vocals of Jaspinder Narula, Miss Pooja, Nirmal Sidhu, Balwinder Matewaria and Meet Malkit.

The video looks good and Nirmal Sidhu lays down a solid vocal. But does it stir any emotions in you? Or is it just more blasé stuff being released?

Taj-E “Sik ‘n’ Twisted” Promo Video
Sound Pipe Records artist Taj-E is just about set to release his album “Sik ‘n’ Twisted” in April. From the clip, I see the lineup consists of Juggy D, Kaka (looking rather pimp in Puma) and Nirmal Sidhu.
UPDATE
Taj-E passed along an email, adding to the list of singers with Bee2 as well as Bradley from S Club 7. He also stated that the album is Desi, with a bit of Urban RnB and Hip Hop. Here’s to hoping Rachel Stevens is in one of the videos.
I haven’t been a Taj-E fan, I found his last two albums a little too slow for my liking. However, this album sounds better, and we finally get to see some new material from Juggy D.

DJ H & DJ Rags – “Char Panj” Video
Video number four from DJ H and DJ Rags featuring the real Miss Pooja and Nirmal Sidhu – I think that may be some kind of an accomplishment in itself.
The video is a straight performance piece, but the effect used was pretty creative, but somewhat irritating at the same time.
Well at least we now know what dance move to do while we’re at a party. Let’s call it “The Char Panj.”
I’ve heard there may be a fifth video on the horizon as well. These boys got some real deep pockets.

MC Special “Medley” Video
The two songs released in this video were my favourite from MC Special’s album “Something Special.”
I’m totally digging the Arabic feel of “Nachna Aunda Nehi.”
The video is a straightforward performance piece. But I’m sure the guys will still find it very pleasing.
