En Karma “Tere Bina Nahi Nachna” Video
En Karma are ready to release their debut album, in fact it’s going to release tomorrow (July 30.)
This is a big album release in more ways than one.
First off, the sixteen track album is a Canadian product. Secondly, the album is a product of a band. Not a DJ, not a Producer with a number of collaborations, but one group of guys in it together from the get go.
We heard a tasty sample, when they released “Tohar Naal Jeena.”
And now we get to see what H-Dhami could do with En Karma.
I’ve never been a fan of H-Dhami. But his vocals with Inder Kooner sound pretty good.
Miss Pooja feat. Roach Killa “Romantic Jatt” (Produced by Tigerstyle)
Well here’s something I didn’t expect happening. No really – Tigerstyle linking up with Miss Pooja.
Miss Pooja puts on her best “Nachna Aunda Nahi” melody (the MC Special one.) and then chats about something she hardly talks about – Jatts. (OK, that’s pretty much half her repertoire.)
Tigerstyle will every now and again produce a tune like this, that just pops up out of nowhere. Over the years, we’ve got some amazing tracks, like their own “Nachna Onda Nei,” “Girl From Pakistan,” “Ishq Nagni” and “Nakhra.”
I thought this song was actually written about me, until I realised with the help of some people with an ear for these things, that the chorus actually goes:
“Mehnu khatt romantic Jatt phir be chunga lagda”
So it ain’t about me (I can be quite the romantic – No really.) So I guess it was really written about this guy.
I think the tune is catchy, but seriously, haven’t we had enough of Miss Pooja’s voice yet? I also cannot forget about the Canadian connection, as Roach Killa is a native of the T-Dot.
Details are sketchy, as I have no definitive info as to what album this song will end up releasing on. Possibly on Miss Pooja’s solo album releasing on the MovieBox Records label in the not so distant future. For now, have a listen to this track ripped off the radio.

Sukhshinder Shinda’s “Collaborations 2″ Info
Mr. Shinda has been a busy dude working on album after album.
February 20th will see the release of “Collaborations 2.” As you can see by the lineup on the flyer, you can expect a number of different musical themes.
I read up on a recent interview, that there will be Quwalli, Hindi vibes and more traditional Dhadi style, along with good old Punjabi anthems. The Jazzy B track titled “Yaariyan Banaye Rakhi Yaarian,” is aimed at the family, and mentions all family members and he’s hoping it will be a big hit. The idea for the Jazzy B track has been knocking in his head for over three years, and he had given it to a lot of writers trying to find the type of songs he was looking for. But, it’s the Nachattar Gill track on the album that is apparently the dance floor smash, titled “Mul Ne Lagda Nachne Da”
He also stated in the interview, that the lyrics on this album are on another level, with a more concerted effort focused on creating a lot more strong melodies and lyrics.
Sukshinder usually makes big budget videos, as he tends to aim his music towards worldwide audiences. As soon as a video drops, it’ll be here.
I’m shocked to see there is no Miss Pooja on the album, as I think he would kill the production on a track with her on it. Does this lineup sound better than the original Gurdas Maan headlined “Collaborations” album?
Metz and Trix “Get Ready Get Set 2″ Promo
A lot of people find MC’ing in songs unnecessary, I could agree on most cases. They tend to ruin a good song by adding their own flavour when the song would be just great without their touch.
Metz and Trix have had a career of great songs, and some that you just want to forget.
“Get Ready Get Set 2″ is their new offering, and going by the promos and past albums, production of the music is quite good. After so many years in the industry though, I hope their rhymes are beyond borderline elementary at this point.
