Lehmber Hussainpuri “Jatt Pagal Karte”
This is the first video off Lehmber Hussainpuri’s “official” album Folk Attack 2.
For those that don’t know. There was some drama behind the release of Folk Attack (1) as Lehmber decided to release a not so finished version in India (which was an album fully produced by Zeus.) Since then, Zeus has not worked with Lehmber, but he did release the fully finished album under the title of “The Original Edit.”
After listening to the entire album, I would say that it is quite uninspiring. The album could have used some Zeus, but the closest thing we get to him is in the form of Kam Frantic *sly grin*

Free Download – New Year Mega Mix
What a great way to start the New Year.
I got this mix from Rav-E (a resident DJ and Dhol player at San Francisco’s Non Stop Bhangra) this morning. I gave it a quick listen, broke out of my chair busting a move, and figured I should post this up asap. This mix has just the right BPM, and I’m sure, as it has me still doing it, will have you toe tapping and bouncing in your chairs in no time.
Rav-E says he is all about spreading Bhangra to new ears and breaking cultural barriers, and from what I’ve heard, the Bay Area Bhangra party’s are real fun. Jeeti feat. Lehmber & Miss Pooja “Mera Mahi Tu Pateya” Video
Jeeti doesn’t get enough credit for his production skills. He’s been on the scene since 2004, yet we – myself included – treat him as just another cog in the UK Bhangra scene.
Hopefully that’s about to change with the release of “Serious Duets.” Releasing in February, Jeeti has taken his famous “Chalakiyan Boliyan” perfomed by Lehmber and has added a touch of Miss Pooja vocals.
As for the video, I think it’s great. You can tell it’s made in India, but they got the green screen working in their favour in a non egregious way, unlike some other videos we have seen this past year.
The album also features vocals from Daljit Mattu, Sudesh Kumari, Manak-E, Nirmal Sidhu, Ravi Duggal, Balvir Uppal, as well as production also provided by Jassi Bros.
