Jay Sean “Tonight” Remixes
Recently, there have been two Jay Sean “Tonight” remixes done by Harj of XS-Bass, and DJ Shadow from Dubai. I’m really digging DJ Shadows mixes right now. Keep your eyes open for Shadow, because his name will pop up again in the upcoming weeks.

Jay Sean Performing in Kitchener April 1
In even more concert news, Jay Sean will be in concert in Kitchener, Ontario at Elements Nightclub (90 King Street West) on April 1, 2009. Jay Sean was last seen in these areas about…..man I don’t even remember (maybe Juggy D/Rishi Rich days??)
In addition to Jay Sean, Baba Kahn, Sunny Brown and Lomaticc (the blokes that brought us this gem) will also be performing.
Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased here
Old School Sunday – Jay Sean “Dance With You”
I cannot believe it has been five years already since this song came out.
Released in 2003, the trio Rishi Rich, Juggy D and Jay Sean burst on to the scene and garnered worldwide fame and critical acclaim with this song.
Since then, Jay has gone on to do big things. In fact, it was recently announced that he signed a deal with Cash Money Records. That’s right, Jay Sean and Lil Wayne are collaborating on one of Jay Sean’s tracks titled “Tonight.”
I hope it works out for him. There have been a lot of artists signed to Cash Money in the past that have made records, only to see them never reach the light of day, or radio play for that matter.
Jay Sean’s “Runaway”
Sometimes you hear a song, and it feels like you’ve never heard it before when you actually have.
I have this habit of forwarding to the middle of a song. If the beat can hold my attention for about 10 seconds I’ll listen to it again completely, otherwise it’s a no go. Over the years, I like to think it’s a habit that has served me quite well.
I pretty much did that to the entire Jay Sean “My Own Way” album, to never listen to it again past those 140 seconds.
The other day I was listening to PHS’ Radio show, and I heard this Jay Sean song which I found myself totally digging. I had to think to myself real quick “Did Jay put out two albums in a span of 3 months?”
I went back to his album, and found that the song I had heard was on his current album, and I haven’t been able to turn the song off since.
It’s one of those things, I don’t find myself bumping Jay’s new music because it’s more mainstream, and obviously quite girly. But I love the chill vibe New York DJ Jay Dabhi provided on this one.
Have a listen.
