Jasmine Sandlas “This Video/Jawani” Video
Jasmine Sandlas of “Muskan” fame, releases this medley video for her debut album “The Diamond.” (Now available on iTunes.)
There’s definitely a drop off in quality with these two tracks compared to Muskan.
Jazzy B “Jawani” Video
Jazzy B’s fourth video from the “Rambo” album.
With the exception of a few songs, I’m still not an out and out fan of his. But it’s unmistakable that he has a large following, and the “Rambo” album is still doing big things.
I don’t know how to describe the video really. It does more than the average UK Bhangra video, yet it does nothing. I also think this is the first time I’ve heard a song where the title of the song isn’t heard anywhere in it.
Free Gupsy Aujla Download
After the success of Gupsy Aujla’s album “My Story” last year, Gupsy would like to thank his fans with a free download. The track is titled “Jawani” and features the vocals of Ravi Duggal.
It’s a well produced track that could easily be put into one of his albums. Show your support for Gupsy by heading over to his MySpace Page And if you haven’t heard “My Story” yet, be sure to check out the track “Gabru Gulab Warga” on his MySpace page.
Gupsy is back in the studio putting the finishing touches on Jaswinder Daghamia’s album “Yaar Nai Labde.”

DJ H & DJ Rags Number ‘ek’ in India
I got this press release yesterday.
DJ H & DJ RAGS
RELOADED NO. 1 IN INDIAN CHARTS
Last week DJ H and DJ Rags latest album ‘Reloaded’ was released in India
and went straight in at the number 1 spot in the official Panjabi charts
in India.
In less than a span of six days the album, which is called “Jawani” in India and
is released by Times Music rocketed to the top spot, fending off entries
from Miss Pooja, Jazzy B and Babbu Maan. The lads are also due to make a
trip to India in the next few weeks for a four city tour, unleashing their Bhangra beats across dance floors from Mumbai to Chandigarh.
This is fantastic news for the boys. The album has been received well the world over, and to shoot to number 1 in India is HUGE.
To put it into perspective of what India can do for artists; I believe Babbu Maan has sold well over 15 million albums there with just two of his hit albums.
Now that’s money in the bank.
DJ H & DJ Rags “Jawani” Video
The volume is up on max and I don’t care who hears this outside my window. Everyone across the Atlantic has been saying it, and I’m a believer. This is the tune of the year.
I am so happy that H and Rags decided to shoot this video in Panjab. I was in the Motherland just a few months ago, and this is a great tune reminiscent of when I was there kicking it in the fields, as well as breaking it down at the crazy Pendu partys.
The song itself has the perfect tempo to just bug out on the dance floor. I’m gonna be pimping this song wherever I go, to the point where I will have to keep a copy of this song in hand, just in case the DJ is dunce enough not to have it.
As for news on the North American release, DJ H has handed the project over to the folks at Music Waves, and the album and DVD should be in stores soon.
