Jassi Sidhu “Nai Reesa”
Jassi Sidhu released his album “Singing Between The Lines” along with the debut of his first accompanying video yesterday.
Produced by Aman Hayer, the song has a great upbeat vibe, and that has translated well throughout the video.
Also, congratulations are in order for Jassi, who shot up to number 1 on the iTunes World Charts yesterday, and that is with just pre-orders alone. Hopefully it has restored his, and other artists faith in the industry to continue releasing entire albums, rather than just singles.

Days of Bhangra Producers Lives: Where J-Skillz is wondering about Manmohan Waris
Seems like most Bhangra Producers are on twitter these days. With tweets ranging from album updates, what they’re doing to pass time, or how good they are at cooking, twitter is a little telescope into their day to day life. However every now and then, they may also paint an even more interesting picture of what is running through their mind. This feature helps you chew on what is happening in Bhangra Producers lives.

Jassi Sidhu “Ki Kehne” Video
This was the leading single from Jassi Sidhu’s album “The New Adventures of Jassi Sidhu.” Featuring Malkit Singh, I can say the song came to be rather good after a few listens. But the concept of the video I have seen before somewhere.
London Mela Videos
The sixth annual London Mela took place in West London last week, and it was a huge success.
Featured acts were Labh Janjua, Taz, Mona Singh, Rishi Rich Productions, Calgary native Raghav and Jassi Sidhu.
Highlights from the show include Jassi Sidhu performing an array of songs from the present, and from his B21 days for an hour!
Mona Singh brought out her father “The Godfather of Bhangra” Channi of Alaap, and performed a duet. Channi, still had the signature white scarf on.
Performing live seperates the men from the boys, and the women from the…not so womenly – well you get what I mean. Jassi Sidhu was probably the best performance of all of them followed by Raghav, with no taped PA backing them up.
Sponsored in part by the BBC Asian Network, you can catch all the performances here.
