Gurbhej Brar “Chak Dhen Geh”
What Tru-Skool did with this track, makes me believe that it will go down as one of my top ten songs of the year.

Highflyers “Gulabi Suit”
Turn the volume up to appreciate this joint. I heard this promo the other day and switched it off, then gave it another go today with the volume up, and was pleasantly surprised.

Pree Mayall “Akh Da Ishara”
This has been a good month for Bhangra fans, and here is another song to add to the collection.
Pree Mayall released his latest video yesterday from his album “Me, Myself, And Pree”.
If you don’t know, Pree sang and produced the song. And he produced and directed the video.

Jassi Sidhu “Nai Reesa”
Jassi Sidhu released his album “Singing Between The Lines” along with the debut of his first accompanying video yesterday.
Produced by Aman Hayer, the song has a great upbeat vibe, and that has translated well throughout the video.
Also, congratulations are in order for Jassi, who shot up to number 1 on the iTunes World Charts yesterday, and that is with just pre-orders alone. Hopefully it has restored his, and other artists faith in the industry to continue releasing entire albums, rather than just singles.

Notorious Jatt “Ramaal”
After this debacle, Notorious Jatt finally got something right.
The video was shot in Kakas home village of Bhaini, Punjab, and Guvy Heer did well to pay tribute to Kaka.
The song is from the forthcoming album “Note Varna”, which would have been Kaka Bhainiawala’s first full UK Bhangra release.
Ramaal is available on iTunes now.
The One Song You Should Buy Right Now*
Tein Beats know how to make a catchy beat.
Released on the VIP Records album “Bhangra Duets”, the brothers pair up female vocalist, Poonam (thankfully not Miss Pooja) with the vocals of Romesh Chohan. Add to that, Twin Beats ability to make an infectiously upbeat..ummm, beat, and you get “Hatt Jaah”.
Buy the song from iTunes.
(*Technically, the one song that you should buy right now that is not by Panjabi MC.)
