Deep Cold & Kamla Punjabi “Siti Maar/Rim Kamonde” Video
This one went under the radar for a few months, and I’m kinda glad it did.
Texas duo, Deep Cold and Kamla Punjabi are set to soon release their debut album “Nach Nach.”
It’s a blend of east meets west with hip hop and Punjabi vocals.
I guess Deep Cold has something going for him with his raps, and they also have the musical backing of J-Nas aka DJ Sanj. But then, after looking at this video, I get visions of one huge Big Suga Kane collaboration on the horizon.
Have a look.
Was that a Malkit Singh “Mithe Ganne” melody in “Rim Kamonde???”
DJ Sanj “Hum Tume” Video
I previously reported that DJ Sanj was releasing a Bollywood album this year before he releases another four albums. Here is the lead video off of “Bollywood Punk” titled “Hum Tume.” I’ve also posted the 2 promos I thought were previously too fruity to post. I’ve come around on the “Aahkon Mein” one.
“Bollywood Punk” is scheduled to release in October.

Old School Sunday – “Tenu Bulondee”
I never caught on with the “Das Ja” hype, so this weeks Old School Sunday joint is my favourite DJ Sanj track.
The year was 2002, and the album was the first in the series of “America’s Most Wanted.”
The production was simple yet effective. A strong Surinder Shinda vocal coupled with a Michael Jackson sample as well as Malkit’s “Jugni” sample led to a Sanj club banger.
