RKZ – “Genda Phool” Video and Free Download
I first heard RKZ lyrical talent on one of my favourite tracks from last year, Jus Ritz’ “Nehio Nibhani.”
Since then, RKZ has gone on to release his own mixtape and videos. But it hasn’t been up until now that I took further notice of his work, because this song and the video for it is seriously serious (yes, I just said that.)
Check out the Bharat Goel produced track “Genda Phool.”
Alright, there’s a hindi sample in the song (from Delhi 6 if you’re wondering.) But is this video not amazingly different? I think the concept of the video and the track is in sync with each other.
Even Bharat Goel has stepped up his work. I guess it’s the fact that RKZ’ vocals work well with his music. I never was feeling Bharat Goel’s work before, because the majority of it was with Pankaj Khanna – look up “Club Vich,” and you’ll understand what I’m saying.
RKZ is signed on to the DAS Records Label, and if you go to their website, you can download his mixtape “Mr Entertainer” for free.

Jus Ritz “Tere Naina” Video
Jus Ritz released this video just as his album was hitting the stores. It’s the third video off the album, and the fourth song showcased.
I don’t know what it is about this song. I can’t take the vocalist BooBoo seriously (for what it’s worth,) and is the Reggaeton vibe still in?
As I was saying, this video released in line with the album release. I’m not sure what else Ritz has in store for this album, but I would have advised the dude to pace his video releases.
Is his thinking formulated through the shape of the industry? Do lesser known acts that go head to head against the giants, have to quickly produce all the videos at once, for one big album release day sales push?
While acts like Shinda, Jazzy B and Swami are releasing videos months (a year!) after their album was initially released. Are they doing it to get more people in the shops to buy them over an extended course of time? Or to constantly remind people of their music as they tour?
The latter I believe, is the smarter approach, and I think it should be employed regardless of your stature in this game.
Ritz’ “Nehio Nibhani” track was off the hook, he should have milked that sucker for all it’s worth, and chilled on BooBoo (not literally) for the time being.
Jus Ritz “Nehio Nibhani/Boliyan” Medley Video
I really need to play catchup. This video has been in my inbox over a month, and I apologise for keeping it there this whole time.
Jus Ritz is on the come up. His last video “Tere Na Te Glassy” was a definite plus in my books, and his next two tracks in this video don’t disappoint either.
The first track “Nehio Nibhani” is sung by Raj Kaul, accompanied with some lyrics provided by RKZ and SP, who come up with some surprisingly good lyrics of their own. The production of the tune sounds similar to some tracks out there, yet it sounds unique. I’m digging the use of the strings in the track, and a beat that I can only describe as a soda pop beat?
The second “Boliyan” track has vocals provided by Ashok Gill, and has been given the traditional treatment.
I’m impressed with the video as well, as it has quite the creative flair going for it.
The ten track album “Jus the Beginning” should be released shortly on the DAS Records label.
When there is a new Producer on the block, there is always chatter about “oh, did he produce that stuff himself?” I think Jus Ritz is the real deal. What do you think?
