Sting-A-Man “Peeni Halle Hor” Video
Taj-E Sting A Man released his debut album “Sting is King” last week. The first video off the album is “Nach Bhabiye” I mean “Majajne” I mean “Peeni Halle Hor” featuring the vocals of Bakshi Billa.
(Sigh, another case of not-so-blatant ghost production)
GS Chaggar “Maa” Video
Happy Mothers Day to all the Mums in the UK.

Twin Beats “Tappe & Kach Di Glassi” Medley Video
I’m behind in my posting, but I’ll try and correct that in the next few days.
Until then, feast your ears on the new Twin Beats video medley.
I say feast your ears, because the video is kinda meh, but the music more than makes up for it. I think I’ve seen that opening scene before in another video (Miss Pooja maybe?)
Back to the music, Jaswinder Daghamia is the new it man. If you haven’t heard Dark MC’s “Chori Chori Takna” featuring his vocals, you need to have a listen (That video is not on here thanks to MovieBox.)
The album “Sounds of Punjab” is out now, and if the dhol led beats in this video aren’t any indication why you need this album, check the free download sampler here.

Twin Beats – “Dil Vich Tareya” & “Nath Digpaye” Video
I posted about Twin Beats last month when I dropped their new Kaka tune as well as a free download featuring the legend Kuldeep Manak.
Earlier this week, they dropped their debut video featuring the tracks “Dil Vich Tareya” and “Nath Digpaye.”
I’m digging the tunes in the video. It’s like each song has a different percussion led beat, and going by the promos, the whole album sounds very promising.
“Kach Di Glassi” – Bakshi Billa
“Tere Nain Nashiley” – Bikram Singh
“Twins Tappe” – Jaswinder Daghamia
Now those are some good vocalists, but the entire lineup is pretty crazy. Check the track listing:
01 – Dil Vich Tareya (Kaka Bhaniawala)
02 – Nath Digpaye (Sudesh Kumari & Jelly Manjitpuri)
03 – Kach Di Glassi (Bakshi Billa)
04 – Tere Nain Nashiley (Bikram Singh)
05 – Nanke V Dhadke (Rani Randeep)
06 – Kar Gayian Sauda (Sabar Koti)
07 – Twins Tappe (Jaswinder Daghamia)
08 – Mitran Naal Gidhe Vich (Anil)
09 – Challa Ishq De Rang (Romesh Chohan)
10 – Marda Lalkara (Bakshi Billa)
I haven’t heard Romesh Chohan in a minute, so I’m definitely looking forward to his track.
The album will be dropping very soon, so keep your eye on VIP Records Digital Downloads page to cop the album.
DJ Gurps “Expectations”
DJ turned Producer Gurpreet Mudher, has been in the game for a decade spinning records for top artists in the industry. Now it’s time for him to show us what he can do behind the boards with the release of his debut “Expectations.”
The ten track album, which will release at the end of July on the VIP Records label, features Manak-E, (Late) Kaka Bhaniawala, Labh Janjua, Nirmal Sidhu, Bakshi Billa and more.
(Late) Kaka Bhaniawala – Daru Peeke Nachda
Bakshi Billa – Sarwan Puttar
The first video off the album features the Manak-E track “Ous Kurri”
Frankly, after seeing the video and hearing the promos, my “expectations” have shrank.

Mentor & DJ Dips “Kurri Canada Di” Video
Mentor and DJ Dips collaborate with vocalist Bakshi Billa in the song “Kurri Canada Di.”
The song is alright, I’m sure it would do well in a club setting, and the video is quite creative.
I must say though, I’ve been living in Canada for the better part of my life, and while I doubt she is actually from Canada, they could have done a better job finding a girl that is actually representative of this country.
The track releases on iTunes on July 13, 2009.

Tarli Digital Set to Release “Project Rehab”
After a four year layoff, Tarli Digital is back with the upcoming release of “Project Rehab.”
The album boasts a wide array of quality vocalists including: Bakshi Billa, Yudhvir Manak, HS Talwar, Master Saleem, Mangi Mahal and more.
Check the promo for three of the tracks off the album:
“Yaar Veli” – Mangi Mahal, “Gut Nagan” – Tej Hundal, “Vair” (Old School Manak Refix) – Yudhvir Manak
Since Tarli entered the game, the man has been heavily underrated. My favourite tracks of his have been “Rang Pak Deh” and “Nachde Punjabi”. Nachde Punjabi had a killer sample by Dr. Dre. So I asked Tarli, if this album (by the sounds of it) would be more traditional, or if there still will be some sampling going on.
Tarli responded by saying;
“The album is a total new approach, hence why I’ve spent 4 years on it.”
He added,
“I’m on a continuous learning curve and you will notice from the promos how my sound has matured yet still keeping my style intact.”
The first video was also released yesterday. Check out the medley video featuring the tracks “Yaar Veli” (Mangi Mahal) and “Do Tara” (Bakshi Billa.)
The album is set to release on June 26 in the UK, on the Kamlee Records label.

Pal D “Diamond in the Rough” Medley Video & Promo
Pal D has had some wicked tunes in the past (“Boliyan” on Danger 2 is a classic.) And now after some time off, Pal has come back with a new album.
“Diamond in the Rough” is a ten track album with vocals provided by the likes of Bakshi Billa, Lembher Hussainpuri, Surinder Shinda, as well as Pal D making his own vocal debut on four tracks.
Here’s the first (and probably only) video featuring four of the tracks.
Four tracks in a video is a bit much don’t ya think? And the video is rather low budget (those dancers were ummm not good,) but I’m definitely vibing to the Bakshi Billa and Lembher tracks.
Here’s a fifth track, for which there probably wasn’t enough room to put in the video (I keed, I keed!)
Sandeep Soomal & Pal D – Oh Kudi Sohni Lagdhi
The album is set to release on May 29, and you can purchase it from the VIP Records Digital Site.
Introducing Bakshi Billa
Bakshi Billa + Pal D = I’m excited!
I don’t know for which one of these dudes I’m more excited about.
First off we have a new singer in Bakshi Billa. The man can sing like nobody’s business. He’s like a cross between Lehmber and Kaka but this dude has range! Check his website out for a sample of it.
Bakshi will be releasing his debut album this summer with the help of producers from Australia, as well as Pal D of the UK.
I’ve admired Pal D’s work a lot over the years. More so his work when he contributes one song to an album. Pal D’s own debut album, “Standard Procedure” didn’t do much for me. The bar had been set too high with his contributions to RDBs album “Danger 2,” as well as his work on “The Usual Yardies.”
However, once again he’s contributing one song, and even though it’s just a 45 second promo, I can tell it’s gonna be a heavy tune.
