Jassi Sidhu “Nai Reesa”
Jassi Sidhu released his album “Singing Between The Lines” along with the debut of his first accompanying video yesterday.
Produced by Aman Hayer, the song has a great upbeat vibe, and that has translated well throughout the video.
Also, congratulations are in order for Jassi, who shot up to number 1 on the iTunes World Charts yesterday, and that is with just pre-orders alone. Hopefully it has restored his, and other artists faith in the industry to continue releasing entire albums, rather than just singles.

ADH “Putt Sardaran De” Video
The third video and fourth track off of ADH’s “Taubah Taubah” album, features the Mighty Kuldeep Manak.
This is a solid tune for the most part, and I am liking it. Now if it was just missing ADH’s vocals, I’d like it even more.
ADH gives his best effort in this track compared to the previous three we have heard, although he did have practice with these lyrics, because this song is four years old. ADH already had this track featuring Manak Saab on “4 Folk Sake.” Even still, for some reason the vocals just come out of his mouth wrong, it’s like they’re just rolling off his tongue.
If you can’t tell, music production has been handled by Aman Hayer. I’ve said in the past that Producers need to have a signature sound, and Aman Hayer sure has his, but it’s getting a little ultra repetitive no?
The album is set for release during the middle of this month, and ADH still has a few more videos lined up, and from what I hear, they stay desi here on out.
ADH “Taubah Taubah” Video
ADH is back, and if you never knew he was gone, then I can’t blame you.
He’s releasing his fourth album titled “Taubah Taubah,” and this is the first of five videos he is releasing in Autumn on the MovieBox label.
The title track features the help of US based rapper Gop Virk. I’m not feeling the vocals or the tune, it’s too light for me.
The album will however, feature production from the Jagpal brothers (B21) as well as Aman Hayer, and features Kuldeep Manak, Hunterz and Miss Pooja, so I won’t completely write off the album just yet.
Rana Sahota “Pyar” Video
This is the second video released on Rana Sahota’s “Khadke Glassy” album.
I don’t know if I will ever have any “Pyar” for this song. Something about Rana’s voice is just off, like he is reaching. Aman Hayer has done a decent job on production. I think you may want to forward to the “Titanic” moment in the video and then be done with it.
Rana Sahota “Khadke Glassy” Video
The premiere video of Rana Sahota’s debut single.
More encouraging songs for today’s youth. Move along. Nothing new to see here, besides a girl getting spritzed with some cheap champagne at the 2 minute mark. (sigh)
Rana Sahota “Khadke Glassy” Promo
Meet Rana Sahota. An aspiring vocalist who also happens to be the nephew of Palvinder Dhami (Heera.)
Rana’s debut album “Khadke Glassy,” which is set to release worldwide (on the Music Waves label in Canada,) is produced by Aman Hayer. (Tentative release date, June 29)
You can have a listen to the title track below, as well as listen to previews of all the tracks here.
Doesn’t sound very new or groundbreaking vocal wise or production wise. What do you think?
Jaz Dhami “Theke Wali” Video
I am waaay behind in posting!
Jaz Dhami’s second video release, off the upcoming album to be released late this summer. (The first being “Roj Miliye.”)
Production of this track is provided by Aman Hayer, and the video has been directed by Canadian, Jazz Virk.
Slowly, the song has begun to grow on me.
Angrez Ali “Phattey Chak” Video
I wasn’t on the whole Aman Hayer/Angrez Ali vibe before, but this track has me feeling differently. “Phattey Chak” is the first track off Angrez Ali’s recently released album “Ik Din,” with production handled by Aman Hayer.
The Video was directed by Mississauga, Ontario native Jazz Virk, who also was the man behind the Jazzy B “Rambo” video.
Speaking of Aman Hayer, he recently signed a three album deal with MovieBox. More info on those projects as promos come through, but one is definitely going to be “Groundshaker 3.”
