PMC Debuts “Bari Barsi” in NYC
DJing at Basement Bhangra in New York over their Thanksgiving Holiday, Panjabi MC debuted his upcoming track on his next album “56 Districts”.
The song has Panjabi MC’s now classic iTumbi sound, along with a heavy synth and bass line.

Jr Dread “Jogi”
The first video off Jr Dread’s upcoming album, and it’s a sweet piece of work. Featuring the vocals of Amrita Virk, make sure you watch the video in its entirety, as the beat is switche up towards the end.
Almost 18 months after Jr Dread released his debut album (one which I wasn’t too fond of) it’s good to see that Junior has elevated his game. And from what I’ve been reading from his twitter page, this album will definitely not be just another run of the mill Bhangra album.

Amrinder Gill “Judaa” Promos
Some more promos from Amrinder Gill’s forthcoming album “Judaa” have cropped up. With Dr. Zeus producing the entire album, and from what I hear on these promos, I’m definitely getting an “Unda Da Influence” type of vibe.
UPDATE: Thanks to some chucklehead in Punjab, I’ve had to take down the audio promos. Clearly, he has no clue that these are MusicWaves Canada promos, but sigh…it’s too much hassle to snail mail the man, and tell him he’s a dummy.

The promo video has been pasted on YouTube just one day, and it’s already receieved over 23,000 views, and it’s with good reason.
Zeus has stepped out and produced a track for someone else besides Sharmila. I’ve listened to this clip this entire morning, and it repeatedly gives me goosebumps.
This song will be the first single off Amrinder Gill’s upcoming album “Judaa”, and will feature production work all from Zeus.
