Old School Sunday – Precious P “Precious Intro”
I told you this post gave me an idea for Old School Sunday, and that Pama has been around for a long time.
This intro is from Precious’ album “Precious on Top.” Released in 1993, the intro was on constant repeat on the good ol’ cassette deck. There were other tracks on the album, like “Dhol Uthe,” but as far as music goes, this was pretty awesome when it came to creativity back then.
Haven’t heard anyone mention that tape in years, lol. I remember ‘Dhol Uthe’ very well, your makin me dig through the ol case logic cases to pull it back out, lol. Love the old skool posts, seems like we grew up in the same era, love the site in general, hope you keep it goin for a long long time. Now I’ve seen you mention R&S III, 100% Desi, among others, how about we through some luv to Case of Bass 2 and/or Mighty Manak in some upcoming posts, lol, I’m pretty sure you had those bumpin back in da day.
Mighty Manak maybe, but not Case of Bass LOL I’m trying very hard to locate my 2 Badd Indians tape…that was one tape I listened to a lot!
ahhh, you just killed me with that comment, lol, still got the 2 Badd Indians tapes, actually been converting most of the ol tapes to mp3. If there is anything you need let me know.
