I just have to say, when I read that bit about them focusing only on english lyrics, my heart broke… It took me a whole day to let it sink in before I could write about it. The whole point of Swami was the struggle between the asian influences and western ones, and by completely walking away from the punjabi/hindi lyrics, a huge part of that uniqueness that was Swami is lost. To me they music will rock, I’m sure- Diamond’s creativity in that respect is no doubt unbelievable, but its not going to relate to me the way the last 10 years has. And I don’t think I’ll be able to listen to their future works with the same excitement that I did in the past.
Swami- if you’re reading this, you may gain future fans in the mainstream world, but you are losing those that believed in your work from the beginning. Wish you luck, but won’t be looking forward to that work.

I agree with you its sad tidings that Swami from now on will only be doing lyrics in English. Something deep is being lost here.
