DJ Dips “Gerra De De” Video
The third video off of DJ Dips album “Stand Up Vol. 1″ is out, and it’s the mega collabo of Miss Pooja, Lehmber and Kaka.
A song of this nature deserved the traditional musical treatment, and credit goes to Dips for doing that but, I’m left thinking that it’s still missing something.
The other day I was putting together a list of songs for my friends wedding reception. This track made the short list, but it’s not really a dance track is it? And after watching the video, I soured a bit more on the track. The video just gives off a gloomy feel. Have a look.

I liked it, but DIPS could’ve actually pretended to enjoy himself in the video. Just standing there like its a depressing tune, that I hated. Where was Lehmber?! Pooja hai ni Pooja , cant get enough! I wouldnt want to hear this track at a party , its more of a performance song than a dancefloor one. Hearing this would irritate me if Im in the groove on the dancefloor, just like Kanak Di Rakhi from back when, good tune but those long stops just ruined it for me on the floor.
Hey, whats a good list for a wedding reception?
Maybe 10 tracks if your feelin lazy?
Thanks!!
You can check the updated party song list on the right sidebar – http://www.bhangraw.com/uk-bhangra-party-song-list/
..and I would make sure these songs are definitely at the party:

Angrej Ali – Phattey Chak
DJ Sanj (Soni Pabla) – Boli Pani
Some Jassi Sidhu (but not too much coz, nowadays his songs sound similar)
Jazzy B’s Rambo is getting bumped for the youngsters
B21 – Darshan (timeless)
Kuldeep Purewal – Purewal Tappe
DJ Phoenixx – Majujne (if you’re daring)
Miss Pooja – Desi Jatt (For all the fobs in us)
