DJ Dips feat. Sanj V “Gal Sun” Video
DJ Dips, one half of the “Ominous DJ’s” has gone off and produced his own album.
The first video off the album “Stand Up Volume 1″ is “Gal Sun,” featuring Delhi based vocalist Sanj V. The song has a Rishi Rich/Master Rakesh kind of feel to it, very Bollywoody, but it’s receiving a warm reception on the airwaves in the UK.
Dips describes the album as a buffet for listeners with all types of styles on the album. The album is formed in collaboration with MC Rax along with percussion duties handled by Sunil Kalyan.
Other artists to be featured on the album include; Sharmilla, Sabar Koti, Ashok Gill and Jati Cheed. The tentative release month is February through 4playrecordings.
With a track on the album that everyone expected would happen at some point, Dips has lined up Lehmber, Kaka and Miss Pooja on one song. The track is called “Gerra De De.” Check the preview.
What do you think? Are you feeling the Bollywood vibe of “Gal Sun?” Is the Lehmber, Kaka and Miss Pooja collabo the start of a new trend, or is it the beginning of the end?

Ok, so first song definitely has potential for the club scene to pull ppl in.. but the video resorts to a cheap chick who’s not even comfortable w tryin to seduce the guys LOL, its quite laughable. Sanj V has a very similar style to Master Rakesh (do we call him that anymore?)
The second track- Kaka B., Lehmber H and Miss Pooja- I think that the UK ppl are finally starting to experiment more than w the regular single artist… The song prolly have potential to be a blockbuster, if treated right. I can’t judge based upon the advert… I’m hoping for the best.
I like the beat for Gal Sun… it’s more of a techno/dance beat I wouldn’t call it Bollywood at all even though most of the clubs out there do tend to spin those kind of beats. It’s a great dance track but the video is pretty cheaply made which is why I didn’t post it on my site lol. Hopefully people actually buy his album then he will have a bigger budget for his next video lol
Kaka, Lehmber and Miss Pooja … in the words of Tommy Callahan holy shnikes!!!!!!
