Old School Sunday – “Do Jugtan”
Taking you back to 1996, this weeks Old School Sunday joint is a lesser heard Jazzy B song.
It made it’s rounds in my High School as the different sounding Jazzy B song, that had a new but catchy type of beat accompanying it. The beat was known as Jungle and it was heavy in Europe.
Taking the classic General Levy “Incredible” vocal sample at the beginning of the song, I loved this song from the get go. It still is one of my favourite Jazzy B songs (Something I don’t have too many of.)
The song was on the album “Big Boom.” An album that featured remixes by Toronto’s own DJ Jiten and Earl Ferns. This particular track was produced by Earl Ferns and featured the MC stylings of 6-Pac.
