Baba Kahn and Masala! Mehndi! Masti!
Stop what you’re doing because here’s another tune I slept on. I’m bugging out! Canada is bringing it this Summer. Did I mention I was bugging out? Put up with it, it’s my blog, and I’ll do what I want. It’s a chune and a half!
Check out this tune by Baba Kahn featuring Toronto’s own Kardinal Offishall, Lomaticc and Sunny Brown.
I have a new summer favourite! It’s got a little bit of a Bilz vibe to it, but Baba has got the Bilz’ 2 Step Bhangra trumped with this.
If Baba could swing it, I think this song could make for a wicked music video with the right performance dancers featured on it, and give it the proper mainstream recognition it deserves.
This tune can be found on “Baba Kahn Presents Culture Shock: East Meets West.” It’s the first ever South Asian and English MIX CD distributed by a major label – SPG and Universal Music Canada.
